Clinical Trials are a crucial part of the progress we’ve been able to achieve in healthcare in the US.
Medications in the United States that are sold by prescription or over-the-counter (OTC) must be properly tested in order to ensure that they treat the condition that they were designed for, and pose no significant risk to the people that take them. Side effects are a ubiquitous with all drugs. New medications are first tested in animals, in pre-clinical trials. This is done so that researchers can acquire a better understanding for how the drugs will react in humans. After animal testing is complete, researchers will then test the medication in humans for efficacy, which is called a clinical study.
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and an Institutional Review Board (IRB) oversee all clinical studies. While the FDA’s primary focus is both the safety and effectualness of research studies, the IRB’s only purpose is to protect the research subject’s rights. A Principal Investigator – a medical doctor trained to conduct research studies properly, safely and ethically oversees the research study.
Participants who are qualified and agree to participate in the study may be required to attend numerous study visits. During these visits study participants are well cared for by investigators and clinical staff. Here is a list of the indications we specialize in:
- Major Depression
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
- Bipolar Disorder
- Alzheimer’s Disease
- Borderline Personality Disorder
- Anxiety Disorder
- Obsessive Compuslive Disorder
- Migraine Headaches
By participating in a clinical trial, you’re helping advance the quality of treatment available to everyone through our efforts.
Why you (the patient) should care.
Clinical Trials give you access to more treatment.
ACCESS TO BREAKTHROUGH TREATMENT
By definition, the treatment you’ll receive at CNS Research Group is on the cutting edge of medical research. Every medication on the market today went through this process – some for as long as 10 years.
IT’S FREE (AND COMPENSATED)
Not only do you NOT pay for treatment, but we will actually compensate you for your time and travel expenses if you qualify – which means we’re vested in the process. We want to see positive outcomes!
THANK YOU, SINCERELY
We sincerely thank you for your participation. The results may help researchers develop new treatments and may be published so that other researchers can learn. We’re helping advance the quality of treatment available to everyone through our efforts.
Want to make some money today?
Refer a friend to CNS!
We will pay you $50 for every person you refer, and if your friend qualifies for one of our clinical research studies, you will receive a referral payment of $50 as a thank you. (Friend must be new to CNS. No limit to number of referrals.)
